From Sweet 16 to ‘I Do’ – Marie Alexa & Jonathan

There are some weddings that feel like more than just a celebration—they feel like a true full circle moment. For me, Marie Alexa and Jonathan’s wedding was exactly that.

Many years ago, I had the privilege of filming Marie Alexa’s Sweet 16—a milestone that, at the time, marked some of my earliest days in this incredible career. Fast forward a few years, and I was back with this amazing family again, capturing her brother’s wedding in the Bronx. Last summer, I was honored to return once more, this time to film Marie Alexa’s own wedding to her wonderful husband, Jonathan.

To say I adore this family would be an understatement. They have supported me and my work in ways that truly mean the world to me, and being invited back into their lives to capture these incredible milestones is something I’ll never take for granted.

Marie Alexa, you looked absolutely stunning on your wedding day. I’m so glad we were able to capture so many beautiful moments before the storm rolled in—your bridal glow was matched only by the joy radiating from everyone around you. And when the party started? Let’s just say we celebrated all night long, the kind of celebration that reminds me why I fell in love with wedding filmmaking in the first place.
