Celebrating Marcella & Vincenzo at The Watermill on July 4th

I’ve been filming weddings for two decades now, and in that time I’ve met some of the most incredible people — many of them fellow wedding professionals. Marcella is one of those people. She’s an unbelievably talented hairstylist, a fellow Italian, and someone whose warm spirit shines through in everything she does. So when she asked me to film her wedding to Vincenzo, I was beyond honored.

Because here’s the thing — people in our industry see it all. They meet countless videographers, photographers, DJs, planners. For someone who knows this world inside and out to trust me with their wedding film… that means everything.

Their wedding took place last Fourth of July at the beautiful Watermill Caterers, and it was easily one of the hottest days I’ve ever filmed. But the heat didn’t slow anything down — if anything, it made the celebration feel even more alive. The dance floor was absolutely electric all night long.

And Vincenzo? Truly one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. Seeing how much he adores Marcella, and how perfectly they complement each other, is the kind of love story that makes you believe in forever.

When it came time to edit, I wanted their film to be as vibrant and joyful as their day was. I even wove in some Super 8mm-inspired moments paired with Dean Martin’s “Mambo Italiano” to honor our shared Italian roots and give it a timeless, playful twist.

Marcella & Vincenzo — I wish you nothing but happiness, laughter, and love for all the years to come. Your Fourth of July wedding was absolutely epic, and I’m grateful I got to be there to capture every moment.
